Marshfields School

A Positive Choice

Mayor Visits Marshfields

In January 3 students from year 11 represented the school at the Holocaust Memorial event in Peterborough City Centre.

2 of the students read aloud in front of a packed St John's Church the poem by Martin Niemoller, entitled 'First they came'. 1 of the students was the wreath bearer handing the Holocaust wreath to the mayor for laying on the plaque in the church grounds. In recognition of their support the mayor then presented them with a certificate of our most recent rewards assembly. They were all moved to be part of such a significant event within the city and did the school proud.
