Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to enhance the education of disadvantaged students. The criteria for receiving Pupil Premium is as follows:
Every school can select how they choose to use their Pupil premium allocation, as they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for students.
The amount of Pupil Premium Funding received last financial year was used in several creative, practical ways to support entitled students.
All children should have equal access to high-quality PE provision and opportunities to experience and participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities. Academic achievement can improve in school because of the benefits children can gain.
Schools use the PE and sport premium funding to help achieve these aims. It is not used for core-type school activities. They use it to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport and physical activity they provide.
